I’m excited to be included in a group exhibition at Bunker Hull, a new
project space in Fishtown. I’ll be showing 2 collaborative pieces
that I’ve been working on with Philadelphia artist Marc Zajack. The

Chain Letter is a group exhibition based on Admiration. Initially conceived in Los Angeles in 2006 by Christian Cummings and Doug Harvey, the current exhibition curated by them for 2011 is on a much more ambitious scale with world wide venues participating. Inclusion in the exhibition is based on invitation by someone who admires your work. Each artist invited then invites ten other artists whom they admire, and so on, circulating for thirty days, at the end of which, all exhibitions, real and virtual, open on the 16th of July 2011.

Artist/Designer/Friend- Faryal Maroof and I have been working on a collaborative project for the past year and a half. What started out as an opportunity make a zine together has changed and changed again, now taking the form of a self published artist book, web project and variations of other printed media. The work is inspired from a group of collages that we began in the spring of 2010. We are excited about showing one of the collages at Sanson Projects this month.

Its a website that contains mostly young and somewhat emerging artists. There is an RSS feed function that grabs info from a bunch of different art blogs, so the content is updated daily. The site is set up as a registry and a one stop shop for art news and viewing new artists work. As the site grows new features and capabilities will be added to it. It’s somewhat of an experiment at the moment. I have some examples of work on there. Check it out here.
